IFS Cloud is structured differently than older IFS Applications. In older applications the roles and permissions were structured according to the Navigator and the underlying Presentation Objects. In IFS Cloud the underlying concept has changed and been restructured. They are called projections. In addition, IFS has renamed, removed, and added various windows and projections. There is no roadmap for a 1:1 copy of existing roles and permissions into IFS Cloud.
Purple Services has created a functional and technical mapping of IFS Apps 10 to IFS Cloud. In addition, a powerful engine has been developed. This engine takes the IFS Apps 10 roles and permissions and converts them into ready to use IFS Cloud roles and permissions. Purple Services will then hand over the new grants via the IFS Permissions Manager tool.
The conversion services are an add-on to the IFS Permissions Tool and depend on the number of IFS full-users
